Maritz Travel Leaders Present On Participant Perspectives, Green Meetings And International Destinations At IMEX America

ST. LOUIS (Oct. 2, 1012) - At the upcoming IMEX America, four Maritz Travel leaders will share insights on the benefits of further understanding participant perspectives to more effectively achieve business and guest value through business event strategies. Steve O’Malley, senior vice president of Maritz Travel; Jim Ruszala, senior director of marketing for Maritz Travel; Brian Hunt, account executive of business development at Maritz Travel; and Ruszala and Rhonda Brewer, vice president, group business manager, will share their expertise at the event taking place in Las Vegas on Oct. 9-11.

On Monday, Oct. 8, during the event’s “Smart Monday,” O’Malley and Ruszala will present “Participant-Driven Incentive Travel Design for Better Business Results.” They will share insights on participant-focused design and address what incentive program participants consider to be more meaningful, motivational and memorable values. In addition, this presentation will help define the needed balance between business return on investment and participant return on experience, helping improve business performance through a better engagement model before, during and after the on-site experience. This insight draws on a recent study conducted by The Site Foundation and the Incentive Travel Council, which both O’Malley and Ruszala helped lead.

On Tuesday, Oct. 9, Ruszala and Brewer will provide highlights from a recent Maritz Travel study, “2012 International Destination Index for Incentive Travel.” The study shares insights from incentive travel participants on their incentive travel preferences that drive specific destination preferences that better inspire, engage and motivate.

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, Hunt will share “Creating Green Strategies that Create Business and Attendee Value,” to help attendees understand how organizations can integrate green efforts that better align with both their corporate values, as well as those of their program attendees and participants in more meaningful ways. In addition, Hunt will offer perspective on how organizations can take charge of building the right progressive strategy that delivers better business value and connects organizations further with program participants.
